Manchester's Elm Street is the setting for major community events and parades. St. Patrick's Day Parade in March, the Cruising Downtown Classic Car Show each fall, the Summer Music Festival (a combination of daily noontime performances five Thursday night concerts) in July and August, and the Taste of Downtown Manchester in September, and the Christmas Parade which occurs on Thanksgiving weekend.

The Farmers' Market, on Concord Street, is a summertime mainstay for locally grown produce, flowers, and NH made products. Call Charlie Reid at 603-679-8101 for more information.
